They Were Few
1. They were few, not understanding what they saw but knowing something special had occurred
They only knew as they watched the babe in awe their simple lives were diff'rent from before
Today a star is born beneath a star, His beam and earthly beacon for mankind
Revealed to simple shepherds in the night, revealed in the night
2. They had a clue, above the baby in the straw, a starlit message shook them to the core
The Word was new, whispered through a stable door, they knelt in wonder on the stony floor
Today a star is born beneath a star, no star has shone so brightly before
Leading strangers to a special place, to a special place
3. They were three, men of wealth and sov'reignty who knew the truth and fell on bended knee
They carried gifts, they came to celebrate the birth, celestial King amongst them on the earth
Today a star is born beneath a star, word will be passed from rich and poor
Today a star is born beneath a star, His story to illuminate the years
